This is a blog written while living a life of faith despite chronic illness. I do not claim to have mastered the process nor do I have all the answers. If you’re like me and you’re still on your own journey then I invite you to set out with me and find the right questions.

The name of this blog reflects a simple but enduring idea: our lives — and the experiences that shape them — resemble gold refined by fire. Throughout history, gold has symbolized value, endurance, and transformation. It is strengthened through heat, purified through pressure, and made more beautiful through the very process that appears destructive.

In much the same way, challenges, suffering, curiosity, growth, and discovery refine us.

This space exists to explore those refinements.
